The Conversation Relay Visits DaneAge Association

Dialogue and face-to-face meetings play a crucial role in fostering understanding, cohesion, and trust, which are essential components of strong democracies. That’s why these interactions are so impactful, especially in times of conflicts, crises, and challenges.

We were reminded of this again today when DFS – Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd, Danske Medier, Nye Medier, and DPCMO’s nationwide dialogue relay visited the DaneAge Association’s unit in Copenhagen (Ældre Sagen). The Association represents the interest of 1 million Danes.

In the AI era we need humanisation. Physical interactions bridge divides created by geography, background, and age fostering a more inclusive society. Dialogue not only enhance personal relationships but also strengthen the fabric of democracy, enabling communities to navigate turbulence and conflicts more effectively.
