There’s plenty to address – among other things:
➡️ Meta’s move away from fact-checking
➡️ Meta’s censoring of legal, publicist content
➡️ Meta’s scam adverts
➡️ Meta’s violation of the Danish Digitalisation Agency’s order on cookies
➡️ Meta’s non-compliance with data privacy regulation
➡️ Meta’s non-compliance with the copyright directive
➡️ Meta’s refusal to participate in mediation – by the Minister for Culture
➡️ Meta’s refusal to participate in arbitration – mediator’s recommendation
➡️ Meta’s violation – claimed by DPCMO – of the DMA and competition law
➡️ Meta’s lack of data co-operation with researchers
We don’t expect the Minister to solve everything. But the visit to Meta emphasises the Danish government’s willingness to deal with Meta’s actions and take leadership. Thank you.
