Shared purpose – shared effort

DPCMO began four years ago with a focus on press publishers’ rights. Today, much of our work is centred on artificial intelligence - testing tech, exploring legislation and enforcement, and building partnerships. We must learn, understand, act, inspire, engage, move, and mobilise.

Scarcity is often at the centre of our conversations – whether it’s a scarcity of time, resources, or attention. Sometimes, optimism can feel scarce. But the DPCMO board and members understand something important: we don’t need to have all the answers. What matters is that we share a clear vision of what we want to achieve together. And that we must trust each other to embrace any change and task.

Our logic is simple: when we join forces, we all stand a better chance of succeeding – both collectively and individually.

That shared purpose gives us what we need most – unity, focus, and optimism for the future.

Thank you to the DPCMO board, committee members, and members. Your voluntary dedication, your prioritisation of this collective effort, and your willingness to work for the common good are what make this community exceptional.
