The GDPR, DSA, DMA, and AI Act each aim to increase transparency, accountability, and innovation by ensuring data is more open and responsibly used. While implementation challenges remain and big tech resistance slows progress, these frameworks represent important steps toward empowering users, enabling research, supporting businesses, and respecting creative industries.
Today, we have written to the Danish Parliament and requested stronger enforcement, collaboration, and continued political will.
Europe can build a more democratic, competitive, and trustworthy digital environment. We hope Denmark will take the lead during its EU Presidency.
